This is the case with La Pietra Compattata, a young company from Emilia that creates natural stone surfaces by recovering waste materials from stone quarries into carefully worked surfaces, embracing in this way an echological and innovative approach. This technological process involves the processing of porphyry, quartz and granite that are ground to create a mixture, which is then compacted by pressing. It is therefore an eco-friendly solution that avoids time-consuming work on site and favours the recycling of materials that are given a new life. The result is the creation of surfaces inspired by nature, with high technical performance, to be used for both exterior and interior use, in pavings and wall cladding.
